Fostering Social Innovation on a Pan-European Level – Learnings from Caritas Europa

This year marks the 30th anniversary of Caritas Europa - a network of 49 locally rooted Caritas organisations.
 
In line with Caritas Europa’s uncompromising new strategic focus on innovation and as a joint response to the recent cascade of global crises, our network committed to fostering social innovation on a pan-European level in 2021.

Caritas Europa has already hosted three successful editions of the Caritas Europa Innovation Festival. The overwhelming community engagement at the festival served as an inspiration for our collaborative events with Ashoka and eventually, for the newly founded Caritas Europa Innovation Community.
