The Verband katholischer Kindertageseinrichtungen Bayern e.V. speaks for 2,747 Catholic providers of daycare facilities (crèches, kindergartens, after-school care centers and houses for children) in Bavaria and, as THE VOICE FOR CHILDREN, is the umbrella organization representing Catholic day care centers in politics, the church and society.

For over 100 years (founded in 1917), the association has also offered further education and training, practical series, events as well as information and services relating to daycare topics.
